Opening Session & Reception

The official opening starts at 7pm on May 21st in Seton Auditorium with welcoming remarks from Paula Barry, AVP Student Experience and keynote speaker Melissa Millar, Coordinator of Fitness and Wellness. Immediately following, catch up with your colleagues, meet 1st time attendees and new AACUSS professionals after at the opening reception 8-10:30pm in the McCain Atrium. We will have live music, appetizers and we will showcase local vineyards, breweries and spirits at the cash bar.


Yoga & Mood Walk

Start your day off right with the practice of yoga in our Peace Room. All levels welcome!

Take time to re-energize yourself and get grounded during this mindful practice by exploring our beautiful campus on a mood walk with Venus Bali, Learning Strategist. Starting at the Wikuom (wigwam).

Waterfront Walk

Join us for a walk along the historic Halifax waterfront to network with colleagues and enjoy a late May evening. Starting at the historic Alexander Keith’s Brewery, we will have lots of great food and a chance to catch up with each other. We will then walk along the waterfront, stopping for a quick photo op at the iconic wave and end the evening with some great live music in Historic Properties. Banquet & Awards

Join us for the reception on May 23rd at 6:30pm on Rosaria Terrace with the banquet starting at 7pm in the Rosaria Multi-Purpose Room. Our annual AACUSS program and awards will be celebrated along with the traditional AACUSS Challenge, a 3-course meal, cash bar and followed by live music and dancing from 9pm-12am.

After a long day of sessions and activities, delegates are welcome to relax and socialize in the networking suite, Westwood 501. Light snacks and water provided by KIS and coffee provided by McCafe.
