AACUSS acknowledges the ancestral lands on which it collectively operates. This includes the traditional and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaw known as Mi’kma’ki; the Wolastoqey people of the beautiful and bountiful river (known as St. John). The Wabanaki Confederacy members to the south, known as the Peskotomuhkati; the Beothuk of Newfoundland to the north and east, and the People of Land, Ice and Water of Labrador, the Innu and the Inuit.
